Dude I just had my alignment adjusted. I was on my 3rd front driver side tire this year. The tread on the tire I just replaced was sticking out by at least a half inch.
So I know what your going through.

Heh... speaking of alignment, I bought my PGT with bad alignment. I replaced the F/R wheel bearing and threw the alignment out ever further. How far?
Before alignment: Left - 1.4 degrees Right - 2.2 degrees After alignment: Left - 0.04 degrees Right - 0.05 degrees Driving in the rain was fun. I'd go in the direction of whichever tire had more traction.

yikes..thats scary. i have a buddy thats got a mazda 626 with the 6cyl. he just put in tien coilovers in and a camber kit, he said no matter how fast he's going, 10mph or 60mph. his tires squeel lol. i looked at his front tires and the inside is wearing of crazy fast. ive never seen a tire wear down so quickly.
haha i told him to quit screwin around and get it aligned already
